This audit is to confirm that every Apollo-serviced phone reports the exact physical address where that phone is located. The only approved test number for this process is 933. Under no circumstances should anyone use 911 as a test.
The 933 test line will announce the emergency address associated with that phone. This is the address that must be correct for emergency services.
If possible, test from each individual phone. At minimum, test from every office, suite, branch, warehouse, and any other physical site where Apollo phone service is in use.
If you use the same main phone number at multiple locations, the phone number announced during the 933 call may not match what you expect. That can be normal.
In those cases, we may need to configure a dummy phone number that is used only for 911 purposes at alternate locations so the emergency address is correct.
Note that your service may already be set up this way. If the phone number is incorrect but the address is correct, you do not need to notify us.
The address read back by 933 must be the exact physical address where that phone is located. If it is wrong in any way, or if the system says there is no 911 address associated with the phone, contact us immediately.
If a phone used at home reads back the office address when 933 is called, we can handle it in one of two ways:
This audit requires repeated testing from multiple phones and locations. Every one of those tests must be to 933. Do not dial 911 at all for this process.
Use this form after completing your 933 tests. If anything is wrong, submit it immediately so we can follow up.
